Grant Lynn Alford

1963 – 2021

Grant Lynn Alford, 58, of Hustonville passed away on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. Born June 3, 1963, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Wilda Taylor Alford. Grant was a member of the Disciples of Jesus Christ Church in Moreland, loved singing for the Lord, and was part of the music group, Givenhope. He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, classic cars, and was above all – a family man! Grant is survived by his wife, Becky Smith Alford; son, Denver (Paige) Miller of Waynesburg; daughters, Whitney (Jamie) Rodgers of Hustonville, and Sarah Foster of Danville; brother, Denny (Ruby) Alford of Junction City; sisters, Delona Alford of Junction City and Glennita (Eddie) McElroy of Moreland; grandchildren: Braylee Rodgers, Clayton Miller, and Olivia Blevins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Renee Preston. Visitation is 5-8 pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home. A Funeral Service is 11 am, Saturday with Bishop Troy Ballew officiating. Pallbearers are Denver Miller, Jamie Rodgers, Brian McElroy, Jaccob McElroy, Devin Hoskins, and Glen Taylor. Burial is in Hustonville Cemetery. A Guestbook is available at www.wlpruitt.com.
