Boyle County Middle School photo gallery

The new Boyle County Middle School building will be ready for students to begin hybrid learning on Sept. 30, when students who have chosen to do in-person classes will return to school. The building celebrated a small ribbon cutting on Sept. 17. Principal Brian Wheeler, who has been principal since July 1 and was previously assistant principal, said the school is lucky to be spacious so students can socially distance due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and he said the percentage of students who are planning to come back to school for in-person classes currently continues to fluctuate, but right now the school is expecting the majority of the students to return. Wheeler gave the Advocate-Messenger a tour of the school on Sept. 24. View the photo gallery above to view some of the school’s key features. (Photos by Olivia Mohr)
