Magnolia Manor in Perryville got into the Christmas spirit and hosted a free Christmas Extravaganza for the community on Saturday, Dec. 16. The celebration featured activities such as ornament making, cookie decorating, train rides for kids, live music, Christmas games, a hot cocoa bar and Christmas movies.
“We have had at least 200 kids so far,” said Magnolia Manor Co-Founder Stacy Miller. “The turnout is great and I hope it is bigger next year. We will add to it and this is just precedent for what will happen next year. It is amazing, it has been great.”
No Christmas celebration is complete without a visitor from the North Pole. Santa and Mrs. Claus paid a visit to read the letters from kids and for photos. Mrs. Claus read Christmas stories to the children.
