Prior to the school board meeting, Boyle County Schools held a ribbon cutting for the Boyle County Performing Arts Center on July 22. Boyle County Performing Arts Center is a 500-seat, state-of-the-art facility that can accommodate a wide range of performances. The center is equipped to host school and community-based performances, as well as attract first-class touring Broadway musicals and plays. The proscenium theatre features a full fly loft with professional rigging, orchestra pit, performance lighting and sound, multi-level seating, lobby with ticket office, scenery shop and green room.
