Mercer County grand jury indicts 11 in December

A Mercer County grand jury indicted the following people on Dec. 14:

• Glenlee Philhower, 34, 446 Mooreland Ave., Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (oxycodone); and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $15,000. Chris Perkins with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Miguel Rodriguez, 21, 206 S. Magnolia St., Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance (LSD); two counts of possession of a defaced firearm; violation of an emergency protective order; and driving without liability insurance. Bail was set at $5,000. Aaron Steele with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Martin Smith, 37, 830 N. College St. No. 145, Harrodsburg: operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, fourth or subsequent offense; and driving on a DUI-suspended license. Bail was set at $5,000. Kody Cloud with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• William Gilvin, 35, 637 Cane Run St., Harrodsburg: possession of a methamphetamine precursor; and manufacturing methamphetamine. Bail was set at $25,000. Derek Patterson with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Robert Caines, 38, 1345 Curry Pike, Harrodsburg: first-degree fleeing or evading police. Bail was set at $5,000. Chad Baker with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.

• Brandon Stivers, 32, 173 Old Danville Road, Harrodsburg: second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument for allegedly possessing a forged check in the amount of $2,000. Bail was set at $5,000. Baker testified.

• Robert Dean, 52, 372 Sanders Lane, Willisburg; Clark Sims, 52, 217 E. Factory St., Harrodsburg; and Robert Bradley, 855 Martin Lane, Harrodsburg: third-degree burglary. Bail was set at $5,000. Tim Gambrell with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Mark Russell, 47, 517 Beaumont Ave., Harrodsburg; and Donald Russell, 39, 325 Litsey Ave., Harrodsburg: first-degree unlawful access to a computer for allegedly accessed a computer system for the purpose of obtaining money fraudulently. Bail was set at $10,000. Ryan Evans with the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.
