Garrard County grand jury indicts 10

A Garrard County grand jury indicted the following people on Jan. 20:

• James Barnes, 37, 20 Roy Walker Davis Road, Lancaster: public intoxication; and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Ryan Hughes with the Lancaster Police Department testified.

• Jonathan Brown, 28, 237 Arbor Place Dr., Versailles: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine). Bail was set at $5,000. Trooper Kearney with Kentucky State Police testified.

• Leonard Harrison, 50, 2758 Fall Lick Road, Lancaster: first-degree assault for allegedly stabbing another man with a knife. A summons was issued. Tevis Graham with the Garrard County Police Department testified.

• Matthew Jordan, age and address unlisted: second-degree assault. Bail was set at $10,000 cash. Officer Tudor with the Lancaster Police Department testified.

• Mollie Lane, 104 Daily Court, Lancaster: operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, oxycodone and hydrocodone); second-degree possession of a controlled substance (buprenorphine); and third-degree possession of a controlled substance (alprazolam). Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Ryan Hughes with the Lancaster Police Department testified.

• Daniel Lirette, 32, 126 Cave Springs Dr., Lancaster: operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs; leaving the scene of an accident; and first-degree wanton endangerment. A summons was issued. Tudor testified.

• Candice Moore, 32, 421 Old Ballard Road, Lancaster: operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine); and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Hughes testified.

• Dakota Pingleton, 23, 2804 Copper Creek, Lancaster: first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine). Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Josh Gibson with the Garrard County Police Department testified.

• Jimmy Shearer, age and address unlisted: theft by unlawful taking $500 or more but less than $10,000. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Hughes testified.

• Brian Hager, 25, 305 Lake St. No. 9, Nicholasville: operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. A summons was issued. Tudor testified.
