The Heart of Danville hosted a “pop-up park” this past weekend in the parking lot next to the Derby Shoppe and Raggs, where a community mural was recently added on the side of the building. Artificial grass was rolled out and pots of flowers and plants were placed along the edges; there was a family fun lawn with games and a writer’s garden, where two typewriters were set up to let people write a collaborative story.
