Our pet of the week is Ollie, a stunning two-year-old mixed breed dog, big and strong. According to his former owner, Ollie is good with other animals, and he will do best in an adult-only home due to his size and strength. This good-looking pup is energetic and athletic; he will benefit from regular exercise and some behavior training. Ollie rides well in the car, and as yet, we haven’t heard him bark – such a good boy! If you are looking for a handsome partner for running or hiking, Ollie is your guy!

Ollie is fixed, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to go home! It’s International Cat Rescue Day March 2, a day to celebrate the cats in our lives. In honor of cats, please join me at Plaid Elephant Books for a special storytime on March 16th at 11 am! We’ll be reading “Six-Dinner Sid” – a delightful picture book about a mischievous cat with six owners. Then we’ll chat about the Humane Society’s Community Cat program.
