Boyle Fire Dept. puts out fire on Woodhaven Road

The Boyle County Fire Department responded to a call on Dec. 20 at 7:18 p.m reporting a possible structure fire on Woodhaven Rd in Danville.

Upon arrival, BCFD found smoke and fire conditions. Fire crews began initial attack and were able to get the fire under control and extinguished. Boyle County Fire was on scene for several hours. The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently under investigation.

Head-on collision

The Boyle County Fire Department received a call on Tuesday at 12:41 p.m. reporting a possible two-vehicle head-on collision with entrapment on Lebanon Rd in the Parksville area.

Upon arrival, BCFD found both vehicles blocking the roadway in the first S curve entering Parksville from Danville with heavy front end damage. Patients were transported with serious injuries to Ephraim McDowell by Boyle County EMS.

BCFD remained on scene with Boyle County Sheriffs Office while the towing service cleared the roadway; units were on scene over an hour.
