Perryville man arrested on drug trafficking charges

Boyle County Sheriff Deputies seized a substantial amount of illegal narcotics when conducting a drug investigation in Perryville on Jan. 28.

Through investigation, deputies obtained enough evidence for a search warrant on a Perryville residence. Deputies found approximately 7 pounds of methamphetamine, 5.5 pounds of marijuana, and 2 pounds of heroin at the residence.

Deputies also seized over $1,900 in cash and a firearm. K9 Bruno was utilized in the investigation. The estimated street value of the combined narcotics is approximately $90,000.

Jacob Miller of Perryville was arrested and charged with the following:

1. Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense – Methamphetamine over 2 grams.

2. Aggravated Trafficking in a Controlled Substance over 100 grams – Heroin.

3. Trafficking Marijuana – over 5 pounds.

4. Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess.
