The Fiscal Court has a new committee meeting schedule for 2024. Some regular days, times, and locations are different from last year. 

If a committee meeting falls on a holiday, the meeting will take place the day prior. If any meeting needs to be rescheduled, Judge Executive Assistant Katina Wesley can give notifications on new meeting dates.

Committee members and meetings for 2024 are as follows:

• Public Works committee members: Magistrates Tom Ellis and Barry Harmon.

Meetings are the second Monday of every third month at 8:30 a.m. at 1858 S. Danville Bypass. They are Feb. 12, May 13, August 12, and Nov. 18, 2024.

• Jail committee members: Magistrate Jamey Gay and Tom Ellis. 

Meetings are the third Monday of every third month at 2 p.m. at 1856 S. Danville Bypass. They are March 18, June 17, Sept. 16, and Dec. 16, 2024.

• Finance / budget / audit / insurance: Magistrates Jamey Gay and Paula Bodner. 

Meetings are at 2:30 p.m. in room 106 of the courthouse on the following days: April 15 (Appropriations/Liability/Workers Comp), July 15 (Year End Finances), and October 21 (Health, Dental, Life Insurance). 

• Sheriff: Magistrates Jason Cullen and Barry Harmon. 

Meetings are the fourth Tuesday of every third month at 8 a.m. in room 106 of the courthouse. They are Feb. 27, May 28, August 27, and Nov. 19.

• Solid Waste: Magistrates Jamey Gay and Steve Sleeper. 

Meetings are the first Tuesday of every third month at 3 p.m. at 1862 S. Danville Bypass. They are March 5, June 4, Sept. 3, and Dec. 3.

• Animal Control: Magistrates Jamey Gay and Steve Sleeper. 

Meetings are the third Monday of every third month at 4 p.m. at 778 North Danville Bypass, on the following dates: March 18, June 17, Sept. 16, and Dec. 16.

• EMS: Magistrates Jason Cullen and Paula Bodner. 

Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month at 8 a.m. in room 106 of the courthouse.

Regular Fiscal Court meetings are still the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month at 9 a.m.
